Location:
This 13 acre island is located in the Abacos chain of islands in the Bahamas and takes its name because of its interesting form and the amount of bonefish in this region.

Surrounding:

The dazzling brilliance of the sparkling water invites the swimmer, snorkler, fisherman and the lover of nature. The island offers beautiful coral reefs teeming with fish, a wide variety of birds and tropical flora.

Accommodation:

Over the past 5 years, the owners have spared no expense nor energy in turning a desert island into a first-class resort. 3 Villas and a large Main Lodge (a total of 8 double rooms) can be rented to a total of 16 guests. Each double room has a modern bathroom and finishings. Most materials are flown in from America or Europe. The Main Lodge is the meeting place for wining and dining, a game of pool, or taking your chances at a round of poker. The entertainment area also features a stereo system and home theatre system with satelite television and large format screen for comfortable viewing.

Dining:
In the Main Lodge there is a fine dining area where one can eat either inside or on the terrace to enjoy the sea breezes. The gourmet chef prepares a variety of French, Asian, vegetarian menus which feature native fruits and vegetables, fish and fowl. If you have a special request, let us know when you book your trip. Special events such as a candlelight dinner on the beach or a barbeque can be arranged. The dining area and bar in the Main Lodge provides an opportunity for you to meet together and to relax. A large beverage buffet featuring juices, coffee, teas and all kinds of alcoholic beverages are always available. If you wish to have a special champagne or wine, this can also be arranged on booking.

Attractions & Activities

Activities & Daytrips:
The island boats always ready for your excursions. The island manager will give you a tour of all the nearby highlights, you may even greet dolphins along the way. Professional diving tours can be arranged with the neighboring island. Snorkling equipment as well as ocean going kayaks are provided for your use. Take a swim at low tide around the island's own coral reef and see the multitude of coral and fish. The island has two long, sandy beaches and paths over the island. There are many shells and native plants that make a stroll interesting. You can always make a reservation for golf on the neighboring 18-hole course at Treasure Cay or a match of tennis on neighboring Spanish Cay.

 Price:

How to get there:
Flights from Fort Lauderdale fly daily to Treasure Cay in the Abacos. From there you will be picked up by car, delivered to a private harbor and then taken by boat to Bonefish Cay. There is also the possibility to charter a flight from Miami or Nassau to the neighboring island, Spanish Cay, where there is a port of entry and 5,000 foot runway.
